Cape to Cairo supports a number of grassroots organisations in Africa that provide employment and a marketable skill to people in very poor economic circumstances and who mostly live in remote areas, to earn an independent income.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>
At the heart of club football there’s a committed, passionate and generous sporting spirit. We salute this spirit and the many hours put in by volunteers who embrace youth development in the sport.

Cape to Cairo has twice assisted Jeanette Murray and her team of 14 in their efforts to raise much-needed funds for this worthy cause. The money raised for The Ride to Conquer Cancer will benefit the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. With extraordinary commitment and dedication, Jeanette and team mates will ride over 200km across Western Australia’s scenic countryside.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>
Play is essential for children\u2019s healthy development. A child\u2019s need for play can become lost when families and communities are in challenging circumstances. The HIV\/AIDS pandemic has brought trauma, grief, bewilderment and loss to many, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. Cape to Cairo began supporting this project in 2014 by aiding the many great ladies who make these lovely toys for children living in Kwa-Zulu Natal, one of South Africa\u2019s most affected communities.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>
Along side many other businesses, local charities, schools, community groups and government organisations, Cape to Cairo began sponsoring the Perth Special Children’s Christmas Party in 2009.
\nThe aim of the Annual event is to give up to 3000 deserving children in our community, suffering from either a life threatening illnesses, physical\/intellectual impairment, domestic violence, or living in underprivileged circumstances an experience they will never forget.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>
Cape to Cairo is a supporter of the The Rhodesian Association of WA, a social group that organises functions and events for Rhodesians and Zimbabweans. The Association provides an important opportunity for newly arrived Rhodesians and Zimbabweans to join a social group, and be put in contact with, and receive general advice from others who have settled in Western Australia.
